Dennis holds a Master of Science in Computers in Education from National University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from Point Loma Nazarene College. He worked as a professional musician and music contractor throughout southern California for fifteen years. Druing the past eight years he has developed a comprehensive Muisc Technology program for the Sweetwater Union High School District in Chula Vista, California. The program includes the following courses: Music Technology, Recording/Sound Engineering, Music Business, Multimedia, and Music Tech Ensemble. The materials presented in this book were largely developed and tested in these classes. Dennis is also an active composer and arranger of music for music technology ensembles.
Steve holds a DMA in Music Education from the University of Southern California with special emphasis in applications of technology to music instruction and has taught music technology at USC and California State University, Northridge. He earned a BA in Music at Humboldt State University and taught instrumental and general music for several years in northern California. He served as the primary consultant for the development of the Music Technology & Resource Center at the University of Northern Colorado and is a coordinator for the annual Rock Mountain Music Technology Workshop at UNC. In addition, he has taught numerous clinics and workshops for various institutions and organizations.
